A random girl at my graduation ceremony had stepped on my foot really hard accidentally, and I said in a pleasing and non assertive way, "ow ow and just laughed it off about in a scared abd awkward way without making eye contact and that person didn't even apologize and just stared rudely at me and looked away and I wanted to so badly say it firmly but I thought it was gonna be rude if i spoke firmly, I was afraid what everyone else would think of me, instead I coudve said, "excuse me, could you watch where your going you just stepped on my foot".

i’m 15 years old and facing a major conflict within my friend group. one person gives me major anxiety, the way they talk to me and the way they manipulate others in the group and myself (in the past) to make another person in the group the “bad guy”. they were my bestest friend and all of a sudden, gone. i wanna stand up for myself but whenever i get a call from them or any of my other friends who agree with that manipulative friend i always start to panic. my heart beat increases and my head becomes fuzzy. everyone is telling me to stand up for myself but i don’t know how

Whenever I stand up for myself I feel worried something bad will happen to me. I just had to report my building today because the landlord won’t fix hazards in the building. SubhanAllah my OCD tells me something bad will happen now but I know that’s just my illness.
